Shipping policy

We deliver to

Peninsular Spain (standard service).

Balearic Islands (special service).

Other destinations: Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or international shipments can be handled individually upon prior consultation.

Each zone is managed with optimal conditions to guarantee freshness and cold chain.

Schedules and delivery times

The standard delivery time is 24–48 hours in mainland Spain.

For the Balearic Islands or other special destinations, the deadline will be communicated individually.

On special dates (Christmas, weekends, holidays), we recommend ordering in advance to ensure availability.

Transport conditions and cold chain

La Belle Huitre works exclusively with certified refrigerated transport, maintaining a controlled temperature from collection in Normandy to final delivery.

Exchange and Return Policy

Nature of the product

Our oysters and mussels are live and highly perishable products.
Therefore, and in accordance with European regulations, it is not possible to accept returns once the order has been delivered, except in the case of an incident directly related to transport or the condition of the product upon receipt.

We offer a guarantee in the following cases:

Product received in poor condition (open oyster and no response, breaks, loss of liquid, abnormal smell).

Visible damage to the box or packaging that affects the contents.

Order error attributable to La Belle Huitre (incorrect size, wrong quantity, etc.).

In these cases, immediate replacement or equivalent compensation is offered.

Procedure for reporting an incident

To activate our Freshness Guarantee, we require:

  1. Photograph or video of the product at the time of delivery.

  2. Photo of the lot number and the original box.

  3. Send the notification within a maximum of 12 hours from receipt.

This allows us to validate the incident and guarantee the traceability of the affected batch.

Cases in which we cannot accept returns

Due to the nature of the product, returns are not accepted when:

The oysters have been stored outside the proper temperature.

The box was opened and tampered with before the incident was reported.

The complaint arrives after the recommended review time.

Order cancellation

Orders can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled preparation date.
Once a product has been selected, reviewed, or prepared for shipment, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

Refunds and replacements

After validating the incident, La Belle Huitre will be able to offer:

Replacement of the same product in the next shipment.

Equivalent financial compensation.

Credit voucher for future purchases.

Always with the aim of preserving the customer's experience and trust.
